This seems to be one of the most talked about topics early this legislative session (excepting the grumbling about Taxes, MAEP and the Democrats with their Day 1 budget bills). House Bill 237 raising the minimum wage from the federally mandated $5.15 to $6.25 and then $7.25 in 2008 passed the house early this week only to be held on a motion to reconsider before it was released to the senate.
